I’m so thrilled! When I submitted the article, I thought to myself, ”Well, we’ll see. The worst that can happen is that they won’t publish it, so I have nothing to lose.” Well, they published it on the 15th (I just found out today)!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It took everything I had the day I watched this not to cry – not once, not twice, but at least three times. I know there are so many important issue that are demanding our attention. Please, please, please take this one personally. One in six children go hungry every night. ONE in six.
Thank you!
Wow. Good job.
Thank you, thank you, thank you!
1 hungry kid is 1 too many, 1 in 6 is beyond sad.
The Land of Opportunity should not be the place where anyone goes hungry. There is no excuse.
Congratulations, KnowledgeKnut! Well done!
Thank you! I’m doin’ the Snoopy Happy Dance

Congratulations, KK! Well done! Tried to comment before and the site must have jammed with fans for you! It just went in an endless loop! Ah, to be famous and successful!
Oops, it did post!
Hmmm – aren’t we about a month away from the BIG day? I guess I’d better start sharpening my pencil!
Big day….ah, Stamp Day – yes, indeed, we are! Bless your heart. So glad for your success and the over 10,000 views in what, 5 months? Well done!
This whole thing has been fun. If it hadn’t been for the blog I probably would never have established (at least not as quick as I did) a comfort level with being on line. The people who set me up on the blog, said that for the amount of time I have been on, my numbers are really good. But I have no idea. I just know that I am enjoying myself and if somewhere out there some one gets some useful information out of what I write, that’s outstanding.
Oh, no, my dear! I’ve written you up in my morning pages re your stats. Hah! Blog envy! Grin. So glad to see such success!
Ohhh, cool! Is there a link to something I can read? Aren’t blog stats fun? You hit one milestone and then you can’t wait to hit another. Then you start setting yourself little challenges. Such as: I want to hit 15,000 view, 300 posts and 300 followers at the same time. Well, I’ll do two out of the three, but unless I have a stampede of “follows” on the blog I won’t hit the 300 mark. I’m about 54 away. But it’s fun anyway!
Well done!!
Thank you! I keep checking the site to make sure I’m not seeing things. Tomorrow, I’ll probably start pinching myself.
It’s a wonderful feeling! And a very good article too
Thank you again. I just got so flustered, I tried to put the ice cream into the refrigerator.
lol sounds like something I would do
Brilliant, I have tweeted it too. There should not be hungry children, no one should be hungry as everywhere in the world is an abundance in the supermarkets and we throw so much away. In the EU Europe they throw things away to keep the price up, isn’t that terrible. God had provided for all , the distribution sucks.
Ute!
That is wonderful – thank you so much!
It never even crossed my mind that a company would do that with food. That is sickening. Wow, if I were an investigative journalist (wouldn’t that be fun) I would run with this topic.
CONGRATULATIONS!
Thank you Laurie! So very nice to see you – hope all is going well.
Congratulations!
Thank you my dear!
Wonderful! Congratulations to you!
Thank you so very much! That was a lot of fun, now I want to do it again!
wow congratulations! keep it up
Hi Angel
Thank you for the encouragement! I have been wondering what I should write about or submit next. Any thoughts?
Congratulations!
Thank you! Now I want to submit something else, but I have brain fog.
KK, responding to yours above, as well as your “ouch – damn the stairs” post – you asked for a link – was that re my morning pages entry re blog envy? Hmm, those pages are for venting, thinking, whiniing (almost came out whinnying! – that too) – and then I come to the blog… In truth, I looked up 2/18 and found I had stated my stats and then wrote of yours – blog envy! I’m curious about your phrase of “the people who set me up…” – I’ve thought of reaching out to a consultant, but feel I need just to write the blog and worry details later (not like me at all!). Now re the stairs – I remember your garden – lovely! Did you decide to stay put after all? Well, and now, you’re on the couch for a bit, eh? Eat, eat, eat whatever appeals – it is food for the soul, as well as the bruised ribs and tucus (sp?) and vertebrae, vertabre – musical forthcoming! It is a sign of health to want to eat after injury, so it’s a good thing! Comfort food speeds healing. As your friend said, trust me, I’m a (not) doctor. I’m not, I’ve just taken a lot of falls and slams. Grin.
Hee Hee. I was actually trying to come up with an intelligent way of saying I couldn’t find what you were talking about on your blog. Now I see why! Duh. As for “the people who set me up”, I think it took all of 10 minutes on WP. Truly a user friendly, people who don’t want to read another instruction manual, site. I find that I can just go along and when I am ready to learn more about blog stuff, I just look it up. Seems to work so far.
As for moving, well considering it was the stairs of the “house to be” that I fell down – yes, I have reconsidered. I don’t want to worry about falling down the stairs in the middle of the night. It might be less rent, but that is not worth it.
As for the eating thing, well, I’ve already gone through the fun stuff
But that’s probably a good thing!
Doing anything special for Stamp Day?
Ah, I see your point. Plus your current place has everything except employment, right? I know that piece very well. Gone thru the fun stuff already? You and I will have to discuss emergency preparedness, m’dear! As to Stamp Day, no plans as yet – though dinner the following Friday with a good friend. Since it follows St. Patrick’s Day, everyone used to have a hangover on Stamp Day, but we’ve grown respectable, so…
Respectable? Well, in that case at least they can enjoy the food! Are you a corned beef & cabbage person? Green beer? Isn’t it a bit of a downer to have your special day fall around a holiday? Mine is by labor day. Once upon a time, that meant the starting time for school. At least now it’s sometimes a three day weekend!
Oh, and I passed 900 views today…whahoo! 45 followers – not bad since December 16 or so – still, you are an inspiration, KK!
Yea, Yea, Yea, YEA! BIG HAPPY DANCE
You are doing so awesome. I think 4 people knew of my existence when my blog was 2 months old. Ok, maybe 6.
You’ll be on my heels in no time at the rate you are going!
