I’m part of Rodposse’s 7th photography challenge! I’ve been wanting to participate in this challenge, but kept missing the deadline. This time I made it – woo hoo!
Entries will be accepted for one more day and then the voting is on the last two days of this week, Thursday & Friday.

Please stop by and vote for my weed
I think it’s very pretty……….
It looks amazingly beautiful! Well done!
Thank you! I have this little digital camera and every now and then I get a shot that just makes me go WOW. This was one of them. I like sharing my frost photos, they completely amaze me and I love being able to see the individual pieces of frost.
They are one of the real beauties of nature, I find!
Voted! Best of luck to you! Great photo by the way!
Ohhhh – thank you! I like contests. I don’t win very often, but I get a kick out of hoping.
This is embarrassing…. how do you vote? I’ve gone back and forth – I seem to go in a circle – I finally “liked” it. Nowhere did I see a vote button.
I thought there would be a vote button, but it is actually the “like” button. It looks like I’m in the middle, not loosing, not winning, but that’s pretty cool for a first time entry! Gots to go to the doc – talk to you later!
Saw the new post – hah, an instinctual vote on my part turns out right – laughter. Was the doc appt for the migraines? Ribs, falls down staircases? Hope you’re doing better. HuntMode
Hi!
Yes, good call! I wasn’t really sure until you asked and then I looked. Hmmmmmmmm, we make a good team.
Poor doc. We are new to each other. She’s a nice lady, but I’ve been doing the no, I’m fine, stoic routine. Not good. I’ve been trying to deal with way too much, thinking I had it under control and I reached my tolerance limit. I think this was only supposed to be a follow up appt., but it lasted much, much longer. However, I did get all my questions answered.
I am now on a migraine preventive which has Indurol in it. I also have a new prescript for when I do get one.
The really cool thing about the preventive is that it has the side effect of being a type of sleeping pill. This is very exciting. The sleeping pill I am currently on gives me the midnight munchies – I’ve gained 10lbs since I last saw doc. (I actually think it was more than that, but have managed to loose a little bit.) My last midnight munchie binge was a bowl of popcorn and a cookie. This may not sound like much, except, it is a microwave bowl, that requires measurement of loose popcorn, put in the bowl, then put on for a certain amount of time. When it is finished I spray it with cooking spray and add popcorn salt. It then goes to bed with me, minus lid and base. Then I get the joy of waking up, not remembering until I see the bowl on the nightstand. It has been a nightmare.
I think when I told her about falling down the stairs, she wanted to run and hide –
So, I’m very hopeful that the new migraine meds will do their job without any trouble.
How are you doing?
Glad to hear you passed on being stoic — there’s a reason why we were born in these times – crazy as they are, there are some glorious medical breakthroughs. I do hope you showed her a picture of those stairs, yes? Grin – that brings it home with clarity!
Sounds like you and I are close in the way we make popcorn – I found out you can take a 1/4 cup (or whatever) of loose popcorn, put it in a paper bag, fold the top closed, put it in the microwave and standby – it pops fast! Pour melted butter in layers of popcorn, salting all the way – yum! And cheap! Grin. The most expensive are the brown paper bags for sack lunches – yikes – I think I’m stocked up for the next 25 years.
This has been a ricocheting week – got caught in the middle of a contentious issue and found myself taking fire – what a weird sensation – verbal fire only, but it generated a lot of interior dialogue, whoowhee.
Ohhh, I think I want to try your popcorn popping technique. Problem is, I think I have some bags, packed away somewhere…………………………..
Yes, showed her the stairs. Poor woman, I really think I overloaded her. Oh well.
As for the inner chatter – yes, lovely isn’t it? Haven’t been able to shut mine off lately. It’s driving me crazy.
